Hi Everett, I always enjoy reading your posts, especially those written by Bobbie Leigh and Richard West, who trekked with me in Nepal 30 (!) years ago this month. I spoke by phone with Jamling Tenzing, whom you met when we had lunch many moons ago in Manhattan, this morning, who continues his trekking and climbing expeditions. I turned over the reins at ATC to daughter Lisa seven years ago and have no regrets, as I now get to trek just for fun. Hope all is well with you. Still spending parts of your summers in Maine? Best wishes, Steve Conlon
Hello- I love following your blog and seeing your amazing photos. I just came across your feature in the Manns holiday magazine and couldn’t help but notice the cover shot you claim is Sardinia is actually Lagos Portugal as I was there last week and I am comparing Live Photos taken a near 5 days ago. It is uncanny and almost too good to be true to say Sardinia and Lagos have the exact same rock structures, plateau , and valleys. Having been to both they are both amazing and beautiful, but wanted to bring this to your attention.
