Top Private Ski Clubs

In the world of luxury travel, the magic word has long been “private,” whether dining in an exclusive private dining room, flying private, or making a safari a trip just for family and friends. Now add to that the private ski club.

The concept of the private ski club has been around for a few decades at U.S. ski resorts, arguably pioneered by The Aspen Mountain Club. Other clubs include the Vail Mountain Club, the Bachelor Gulch Club at Beaver Creek, and the Snowmass Mountain Club. Utah has the Deer Valley Club, while back East, there’s Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont. Outside of Steamboat Springs is Marabou Ranch. The Cimarron Club, restricted to just 13 homeowners, lies between Telluride and Crested Butte in Colorado. It’s now sold out but has a waiting list for future buyers hoping for a resale.
