Ready to travel to Greece? The country is one of the few European destinations that has begun welcoming Americans travelers back. There are still restrictions for entry, of course. Americans must prove that they have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine or show a negative PCR test carried out 72 hours prior to their arrival. Greece was also one of 100 or so countries that the US Department of State branded with a Level 4 warning yesterday because of ongoing Covid-19 cases.

So, with that in mind, a cautious welcome back. Clearly, seclusion and social distancing is still very much a part of the Greek vacation recipe for the spring and summer of 2021. So it may be smart to bypass hotels for the time being and to opt for a private villa stay instead.
