3 Places That I Love on Lake Como

I have fallen in love with Lake Como again and again and yet again. Several times a year, I find myself on its ferries and narrow walkways, gazing at the snow covered Alps while lecturing to small groups for National Geographic Expeditions. Sure, I can point out George Clooney’s house and take you to a great silk shop in Bellagio and have drinks at Villa D’Este while regaling you about the life of Alessandro Volta in the city of Como and noting that seeing the Roman Baths requires descending to the basement of a city car park, where they are oddly preserved.
