The Cromwell Hits Las Vegas Strip

“Boutique” is a word that’s thrown around a lot in the world of Las Vegas hotels, but in reality the concept barely exists. One General Manager told me – in all seriousness – that on the Strip a thousand rooms is a boutique property, and I guess compared to the many 3-7,000 room places it is. But the only true boutique hotels of note in town to date have been the hidden “hotel-within-hotel” properties likeNobu Hotel in Caesar’s Palace or Hotel 32 in the Monte Carlo, both excellent, and both of which I have written about here in detail.
The Cromwell takes a very different approach and is a true boutique hotel – the only standalone one on the Strip – in a prime location. Continue reading …
