In Search of Value: The Waiting Game
One of my seven year old daughter's favorite books is "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" by Dr Seuss. And her favorite pages in the book are the “waiting pages,” which depict loads of perfectly placid folk in various getups who are
Waiting for a train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
These are my favorite pages in the book as well – they’re amusing but also all too provocative. And as summer draws to a close, they remind me of just how many people have been waiting around to take a break, be it a vacation, a weekend getaway, or just a day off. These are tough times.
But this September is already shaping up as a great time for a break. There are an extraordinary number of very affordable deals and offers out there, too many, in fact, to mention. So here are some from New York City, Jamaica, Berkeley, Montana, Philadelphia, Tucson, and Denver.
Waiting time is over.
