Spring Skiing in Utah: No Longer Members Only
This morning, I skied fresh corduroy at Deer Valley under cobalt blue skies. Yesterday, I navigated eight inches of fresh snow at Sundance (above) in the midst of a classic Wasatch storm. On both days, crowds were not an issue. It’s spring skiing time in Utah, and Utah plus sun plus snow is a potent cocktail. And speaking of cocktails, the latest news from the Beehive State is that its arcane liquor laws that require a membership in order to purchase an alcoholic beverage are about to get tossed out the window. That may be incentive enough for some to get on a plane and take advantage of spring skiing deals here. Here’s a taste.
