The Deal: Qantas Airways is offering a short term sale featuring sharply discounted round trip fares.Quantas flights from New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO) to Sydney (SYD), Brisbane (BNE) and Melbourne (MEL) are on sale.

What's the Deal: Flights departing Los Angeles or San Francisco start at $678.  Flights departing New York (JFK) from $878.

Caveat: Fares must be booked by March 31, 2010. They are per person, round-trip and are valid for travel from April 19 to June 8, 2010 or July 24 to September 21, 2010.Taxes/fees/September 11 security charges of approximately $145 are additional depending on itinerary chosen.
