Win a National Park Trip with O.A.R.S.
“There can be nothing in the world more beautiful than the Yosemite, the groves of the giant sequoias and redwoods, the Canyon of the Colorado, the Canyon of the Yellowstone, the Three Tetons; and our people should see to it that they are preserved for their children and their children’s children forever, with their majestic beauty all unmarred.”
The words are Teddy Roosevelt’s, and they seem apropos to mark the celebration of the National Parks Centennial this year.
O.A.R.S. , the famed rafting company, is seeking to #SHARETHEWONDER of the parks: with a new giveaway contest. Starting this month, and leading up to the official NPS Centennial Celebration in August, they will be giving away a trip for two each month to one of four national parks. It’s not only a way for O.A.R.S. to give people an unforgettable parks experience, but it’s also an opportunity to encourage people to share the wonder of our national parks with a friend or someone they love.

Theodore Roosevelt said, “We have fallen heirs to the most glorious heritage a people ever received and our people should see to it that they are preserved for their children and their children’s children forever, with their majestic beauty all unmarred.” What better way to ensure our national parks are preserved for the enjoyment of future generations than to share the wonder of these wild places with as many people as we can? After all, we save what we love and we love what we know.
