What’s the Deal?: Room 77 is an aggregator, allowing you to search for hotel rates from a various online travel sites, such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Priceline and Orbitz, and then showing you the results. You can filter the results to your taste, displaying hotels that offer free Wi-Fi or breakfast, for example. Now it’s introduced its Room Concierge.
What is it? Room Concierge goes one step further, by pairing travelers with the best room within a particular category. Working with three- to five-star properties, Room 77 notifies travelers if the match is successful within 48 hours of check-in. Their RoomView technology simulates the actual view from each hotel room using 3D mapping technology. There also utilize digitized hotel maps of floor plans, along with select traveler reviews and interior photos by room number.
The Verdict: Considering that you can see what a “partial ocean view” really means before you book a pricey room in Honolulu or St. Martin, it could make your vacation a lot more memorable.
